Storytelling Collage

2Wild embraces the tradition of collage, using found materials to create imagined settings for adventure. These compositions take time to explore and are ripe for surprise and delight at finding hidden gems. The themes often include skiing, surfing, golfing, horseback riding with elements of Americana, pop culture, and advertisements.

Plexiglass work

One of 2Wild’s most iconic features! The transparent nature of the material allows the artists to paint on both sides of the plexi, giving the work immense depth. The wall shadows and reflections behind the paint add a sense of depth and three-dimensionality. The wall’s surface transitions into the painting which creates a smooth and beautiful transition with every interior.  The wall and artwork become one and interact together in the space.

Three-dimensional Sculptural Paintings

Barak and Miri are inspired by the design language and vibrancy of pop art. Their work pops figuratively, and often literally, from the panel, drawing your attention in towards the details of the composition.  These pieces are sculptural and three-dimensional wall-paintings that invite viewers to look closely and explore the topography of the artwork from every angle.

Plexiglass Wall Sculptures

2Wild is constantly experimenting with new media and techniques to explore, innovate, and rediscover wall-art creations. They are particularly interested in exploring the sculptural possibilities of laser cutting their own uniquely shaped plexiglass "canvases". They then blend this process with collage, free-hand painting, and assemblage to create beautiful three-dimensional wall sculptures.

Palette Knife Butterflies

Butterflies quickly became a symbol and a major theme for Barak and Miri. These vibrant and colorful butterflies represent freedom, joy, and timelessness. They symbolize a lightness of soul. The artists introduce this motif into a wide variety of settings where it is not traditionally found.

Shattered-Glass Glam

Shattered glass has become one of 2Wild's favorite and most popular mediums. The artists create their own mix of shattered glass by breaking, polishing, and rounding glass pieces into a unique, textural, and sparkling medium. This mixture is then applied and set on the surface of the painting, frame, or sculpture to create an ice-like, crystallized, immersing experience. The glass is rounded, dull, and safe to touch however it is recommended to use gloves when handling the artwork.
